Archive presents the final concert in the Bowraville Theatre Series for Summer 22/23. Set in a charming art deco theatre, these events are designed to enliven the theatre, to provide opportunities for touring and local musicians and to bring accessible and inclusive music events to this regional community. Bandaluzia – Led by ARIA nominated Flamenco guitarist Damian Wright Bandaluzia present a spectacular new show that showcases contemporary flamenco dance and music whilst displaying the essential characteristics of the flamenco tradition. BANDALUZIA are celebrated for their powerful performances, unique sound and explosive displays of dazzling musicianship and virtuosity. For this show, Bandaluzia will be performing as a trio.

Maanyung – Michael (Maanyung) is a proud Aboriginal man with strong connections to Gumbaynggir and Yaegl Nations. ‘I have always had strong family and mentors around me to teach culture to me along my life. I enjoy sharing culture to people as I believe traditional Aboriginal ways of being has so much to give, in the means of values of respect, love, care, sharing, looking after each other and our mother earth. I enjoy singing in my old people’s language, it links me back to them when I can connect with country and spirit to deliver my music. Michael sees his work as a vehicle to reinvigorate Aboriginal language into mainstream music and society.
