Darruyaygam Maagun Festival 2022

We are excited to announce the inaugural Darruyaygam Maagun Festival – The feast of wellness! A FREE community event held riverside, celebrating wellness and cultural pride while showcasing talented musicians and artists. There will be an abundance of activities for the whole family, including workshops, fishing, and stand-up paddle boarding on the river to name a few. This is a FREE community event of culture, food, dance, music and art.

This event aims to bring families together to embrace our traditions, promoting healing and wellness and eventually grow into a positive annual event on the local calendar. We want to create healing our way, from a cultural perspective, creating unity in community and stable social and emotional wellness through traditional healing practices and what comes naturally to our people.
