Rockin’ at Nambucca 10th – 12th February

Let’s Dance Rock and Roll Nambucca Heads and Nambucca Heads RSL Club presents a weekend of Rock and Roll dance on February 10th to 12th, in the auditorium of the club (good size dance floor).
Five great events for you to attend:
1. ‘The Drive-Ins’ – Dress up in your best gear and enjoy this impressive local 50-60s Rock and Roll band, Friday 29th, 7.30 to late. Having wowed their audience at last years event, they’re back to do it again with plenty of great 50’s-60’s music in their repertoire. This is a FREE night courtesy of the Nambucca RSL Club. 2. ‘Classic Car Show’ in the carpark of the Nambucca RSL Club, Saturday 30h, 10.30am – 1.30pm. Classic and vintage cars will be in attendance at this car-lovers event. Come along and be amazed at how these vehicles are loved. No entry fee.
3. ‘Rave On Band’ – This fabulous Sydney 50s-60s Rock and Roll band will hit the highway to join us on Saturday 11th, 7 – 11.00pm. You can’t beat their many years of experience at knowing how to keep us on the dance floor all night with their great dance beat. Tickets available for just $25 from Helen on 0417 646 424.
4. Breakfast meeting at the Club, 9am.
The Club has kindly agreed to hosting a breakfast for attendees. The menu will be released closer to the event. Those interested in participating can opt in to be sent the menu to be returned by Tuesday 7th February. Cost to be advised.
5. ‘Rock and Roll/Partner Dance Workshop’ – Let’s Dance Rock and Roll will treat you to a 1+ hour of their expertise on Sunday February 12th at 11am – 12pm, helping you to learn a medium level rock and roll move and a new partner dance. Just rock up to this FREE event … no need to book.
6. ‘John Curtin’ – our most talented one-man entertainer. We shared our John with you previously and the feedback was amazing. So come along and finish up the weekend with the best of the 50s-60s on Sunday 12th February 1 – 4pm after the Dance Workshop. No need to book for this one and it’s free courtesy of the Nambucca RSL Club.
