Bridges & Berms xc race: Round two

This is the second race in a two race series, held at the Jacks Ridge MTB Park and run by the Nambucca Valley Cycle Club.
The Bridges & Berms race is a cross country style event for riders of all levels.

The course will be different to the first round (held on 8 Jan) but will still be around 6km in length with the strongest riders able to complete a lap in under 20minutes. All riders will complete the appropriate number of laps for their chosen grade as shown below:

A Grade 19+ Male/Female 5 Laps
B Grade 17+ Male/Female 4 Laps
C Grade 15+ Male/Female 3 Laps
D Grade 13+ Male/Female 2 Laps
Under 13 (11-12yrs) Male/Female1 Lap
E Bike Solo 19+ Male/Female 5 Laps
*Date and time:
Round two is on Sunday 12 February, sign on from 7:30am, race start 9am. Approx finish time will be 11am, with series presentation around 11.30am.
Presentation:
Points will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for both male and female in each category. Series winners for each category (as well as 2nd and 3rd place) will be decided on points, however you must be present at round two to collect your prize.

*Cost per event:
Adult entry $15
Riders under 19 years $5 – the junior pricing will be applied automatically via the registration process.
*Coffee and food:
NVCC is excited to welcome Karen from Blue Waves Coffee who will be onsite from 7.30am. Please bring your $$$ to support this Nambucca Valley business. The club will also run a BBQ and cold drinks will be on sale.
*Race Licencing:
All participants must hold, or obtain an AusCycling “Race Off-Road” or “Race All Discipline” membership, or obtain an Event Day Licence, or a 4 week free trial membership. As Event Day Licences are $35 for both adult and juniors we advise you get the free trial option if eligible. Or you may find it better value to simply sign up for a full membership.

*Cancellations
In the event of wet weather or strengthened Covid-19 restrictions the race may be postponed. If it’s clearly going to be too wet we will make the call by 9pm on Friday 10 February, if uncertain then we will call it by 2pm on Saturday 11 February 2023. A full refund will be offered for those unable to attend the re-scheduled event.
