Garrangali Band – ONE VOICE Tour – Bellingen Show

Fresh outta North East Arnhem Land, Garrangali, 11 piece Yolngu powerhouse freshwater ska and reggae band are bringing their album launch tour for one night only to Bellingen’s Showground!

The ONE VOICE album tour celebrates the band’s Yolngu culture, country and heritage wrapped in a mix of contemporary beats, traditional yidaki and manikay (song) bringing Yolngu music to a dance floor near you!
Hailing from Baniyala Homeland, in Blue Mud Bay, these musicians exude the ancestral vibrations from the past in bold messages for today, with a spirit and uplifting ability to harness the soul and pride of their community, transporting you back to the beginning of time. Garrangali draws on their heritage of winning the first sea rights in Australia over an intertidal zone, and sings songs about their love for sea country and its cultural significance,
