Social Media Marketing
The growth of social media over the past decade has been phenomenal, with customers now spending an average of 120 minutes per day searching, researching, and engaging with content on the various platforms.
Social Media has become an essential part of any small business’ marketing mix. One of the most critical things for small businesses is understand their customers’ needs and wants, identify what their customers value, what motivates them, so they can better engage with them.
In this workshop we explore how to craft a compelling narrative that engages people on a human level, through to nurturing trust to grow repeat business. This is an interactive session, with attendees invited to participate in a 10-minute Q&A at the end of the session.
Learning Objectives for the participating business:
• Understand your target market and their motivations to better appeal to them
• Gain clarity around your value proposition and its impact on creating content
• Have the know-how to craft a simple, but considered, social media plan.

Presenter:
Robyn Simon, Business Advisor – Enterprise Plus (previously Northern Region Business Enterprise Centre).
Robyn has more than 25 years’ experience working with start-ups and established businesses in the retail, tourism, and creative industries. A local of the Nambucca Valley Shire, Robyn is actively involved in the delivery of the Australian Small Business Advisory Service Digital Solutions Program on the Mid North Coast.
ASBAS is a Federal Government program to help small business grow their digital capacity. Robyn is an avid studier of consumer trends as they relate nationally and globally to small business and describes herself as a “solutions architect” who loves exploring innovative ways to help her clients market their products and services in a changing economic environment.
