You will be using natural materials that Ingrid sources from the local area.

All materials supplied. You’ll be able to play with the array of natural colours as well as Ingrid’s eco dyed rainbow of colours using native plant dyes.

Please bring a cushion for comfort as we will be sitting on the floor (there are chairs available if this is uncomfortable for you.)

Ingrid Riverstone is a fibre artist from the North Coast of NSW. Ingrid has been mentored and deeply inspired by Yolngu Master Weavers in Arnhem Land for over 15 years. She draws from her own ancestral roots, her family connections to PNG and her life time of experiences. She is passionate about deeply connecting her workshop participants to the ancient tradition of women’s weaving.

The Valley Hub acknowledges Gumbaynggirr country, the Ancestors, Elders and Traditional Custodians of the Valley in which we live and work. We thank them for their care of country through time and acknowledge and respect their continuing connection to land, waters and culture.
