Giiguy Gamambi Preschool

Giiguy Gamambi Preschool is an Aboriginal Early Childhood Education and Care Services for children 3-5 years of age. They live by the axiom “Maam Miindalaygam” (The Learning Place) which is culturally driven and is imperative to children’s learning and success. The team has high expectations for all children’s learning, and proudly boasts an above-prescribed ratio of staff to children.

The preschool has a beautiful natural playground with a riverbed, bush tucker immersed throughout, and a fruit and vegetable garden. The Dynamic program includes a hot meal daily, music, Gumbaynggirr Yoga, Gumbaynggirr language classes, and coastal excursions on country with Community Elders, sports and technology.

Positive transition to school programs in collaboration with schools and community are delivered.

All children are welcome.
