The Makers Nook

The Makers Nook is a cosy little creative space in the Nambucca Valley offering art classes, supplies and handmade gifts!

Art classes for Adults and Kids are our main focus. Encouraging creativity through our weekly term classes, short courses, workshops, and school holiday programs in visual arts and crafts. We explore, play and learn across a whole range of mediums – ceramics, watercolours, gouache, acrylics, sketching, charcoal, mixed media, soft pastels, sculpture, paper mache, textiles, and more!

Whether you’re looking to be creatively social, or to hone your skills – the Nook likely has something to suit. Join in on our weekly Kids, Teens or Adults Art Classes, monthly Clay & Sip, or come along to a medium-specific workshop or short course such as our ‘Introduction to Watercolour Workshop’.

If you’ve got a group of people you’d like to share a creative experience with, you’re most welcome to make it a private event! Our minimum group sizes are small (so is our maximum ha!), and our website lists some suggested event packages.

Most recently, we’ve started stocking a curated range of art supplies to help you continue the creativity at home! Sketchbooks, palettes, sketching materials, paints, brushes, clays, canvas, watercolour papers and more. Professional and high quality student ranges available.

The Makers Nook is a welcoming and comfy place to nestle in, enjoy a cuppa, get your hands busy, and your imagination flowing. We hope to see you in-house soon!
